50 Shades & Snow

It's snowing outside....not like the little dusting of powdery snow that barely stays on the ground....but a full on blizzard up to as much as 4 inches. Great...I think  to myself....and I am that unlucky employee that works at 6 am and has to trudge my lil Cobalt over the creek, through the woods, and up the monster hill in front of my house to get to work by 6.   *-*

Great.

So what's a girl to do....well we started off by going to Target before it got too bad and picking up some items for our new apt. More to come on that later...

And now that it's cold, snowed in, and late I break out my 50 Shades of Grey. Yea, I got on the bandwagon after the first book. I couldn't help myself. Us women all remember as teenagers sitting up to watch those cheesy softcore shows on Showtime late at night, and these books are no different Would I take reading this smut over Twilight? Hell yes. I have no desire to read about pregnant vampires and their werewolf friends...but bondage, and erotica...different story!

Call me crazy but what girl wouldn't want their own Christian Grey? To buy you Audi's and Macbooks, take you on private flights, and do whatever your heart desired? You don't have to be materialistic to like that. It's like as soon as I feel like the book cannot thrill me no more...it does. I tell you it really sucks you in. LOL

So while it's snowing away, I'm going to enjoy my little private island of adult joy. It really makes my night...I tell you.

Some might say, I don't want to jump on the bandwagon. Or it's not for them. Understandable...but don't knock it till you try it! It lets your mind wander and I'm sure can give any marriage a lil bit of spice. Cause after you read a chapter, your panties will be in a bunch! :)

So off I go to read, and call it a night! Till tommorow! PEACE.

Product Review: Always Radiant Infinity Pads & Tampax Radiant Tampons

Hey hunnie bunnies! Yea yea..the picture I know. It probably makes some of the men reading right now quiver at the thought. But for us women....well we are no stranger to that time of the month.

Call it whatever you want, the monsoon, crimson tide, big red parade, that special time....it's not anything we can help so might as well find the best way to deal with it.

I was actually quite thrilled when I received this product in my Influenster Summer Beauty VoxBox. Partially because it was almost that time of the month and this was something I really needed because I had run out of "supplies". So the product got it's fair share of testing!

I tried out the panti-liners which were AWESOME. I cannot rave enough about them. I used them the last few days of my period when I needed that light coverage. They are absorbent but so comfortable! Whats really nice about it is that you can wear them with any kind of panty. Boy-shorts, thongs, regular undies. And they are so thin! It's incredible they hold so much but are so thin! I am definitely repurchasing!

I also tried out the tampons, and they were just awesome. Very comfortable and absorbent! Also repurchasing!

I did not try out the maxi pad because I prefer not to use pads but I am sure that the coverage is just as good!  Also the trial size we got came with a little pouch to store your feminine products which was ingenious!

So I am giving this product a A++. I mean it was everything I was expecting and more. I can't even think of one bad thing about it! I recommend it to all my girlfriends!

I wanna thank Influenster so much for this product to review and thank you to Always and Tampax! They really made dealing with periods more bearable!

Product Review: Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Sunscreen

Hey lovelies! Got another product review for you all! I haven't been able to do my product reviews for my Influenster VoxBox lately because of technical difficulties with my blog..oppsie. But I am back at it again after sorting that out!

Sow without further wait...let me bring it on! Starting with Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Sunscreen!

I was a bit excited about getting this product in my VoxBox because I do love Hawaiian Tropic Products. I have bought their Indoor Tanning products before and my family has always bought Hawaiian Tropic sunscreens and outdoor tanning lotions. So I am no newbie when it comes to Hawaiian Tropics quality!

This sunscreen came in SPF 30 in my VoxBox but it does come in other SPF strengths as well. It had a very nice cocoa butter smell which lasted for quite some times after using.

It goes on a little bit white in color but soon after becomes clear and just looks like you had just but lotion on. It wasn't very greasy and dried quite quickly.

My fave part of the product by far was the packaging. I love the bottle and how the product looks swirled inside. It really appeals to me and I would be intrigued to purchase this product by the packaging.

The only downside I would have to say is probably just that despite it not being very greasy it's still a little bit greasy for me. I am very weird about how greasy lotions and sunscreens are so that doesn't surprise me I find it greasy. Also I just really don't use sunscreen much because I don't spend a lot of time outdoors or at a beach so it's kinda unessecary for me. But it's never to late to just use sunscreen everyday!

So overall I give this products a A. I like it quite a lot and I would recommend it to anyone who likes or uses sunscreen! Or just anyone!

I want to thank Influenster for sending me this product to review! If you haven't already joined Influenster you should, it's free!

Review: Quaker Banana Nut Bread Soft Baked Bars

Hey everyone! It's Voxbox time again! So excited! I was really excited and happy that I got picked for the latest Influenster Summer Beauty VoxBox! It was full of great products which I will be reviewing here and on my Youtube channel.

One of those great products was the Quaker Banana Nut Bread Soft Baked Bar. I was really excited to test this because I LOVE banana nut bread and I love on the go healthy snacks! I am always on the go so I am always looking for a good snack.

So upon first glace the packaging was very nice. The wrapper is see through which is nice cause you can see the bar inside. I liked how they highlighted some of the nutrition information on the side of the wrapper. I always liked that the wrapper gave you the tip to try the bar warmed up. I might not have thought to warm it up otherwise.

I took mine out of the wrapper and cut it in half so that I could warm up one side and keep the other piece cold so I could try it both ways. It felt really soft and not as hard as I thought it would feel with the pieces of nuts on top. The bar looks like a granola bar but softer and with crushed up pieces of almonds and it looked like walnuts on top.

The bar didn't really smell much like banana nut bread. It smelled more like some sort of oatmeal. I was a little worried maybe it wouldn't taste like banana nut bread and more like oatmeal.

I tasted the cold piece first. At first the first taste I tasted was definitely the banana. It tasted just like a banana nut bread slice. The nuts on top did give it a nice bit of crunch and texture. It was a little bit dry I thought because I did need some water afterwards but it wasn't too bad.

I tried the warmed up piece next and surprisingly it was a different kind of flavor. It kind of toned down the banana flavor which I wasn't too fond. However warming it up did tie the flavors together nicely and it tasted like eating a warmed up piece of banana bread. I did agree that it tasted better warmed up.

The nutrition content is 140 calories, 5g fiber, 20% daily value of B vitamins, 6g protein.
Prices vary but I did see a 4 pack box at Target for $2.00.

So here are the pros and cons.

The pros are I liked the flavor, it truly tasted like banana nut bread. I liked the crunchy texture of the nuts on top. I liked the flavor warmed up. I also liked the way this could be a great on the go breakfast.

My only con would be that I would have liked more of a banana flavor and maybe a bit more moist.

I would definitely repurchase this product especially after seeing on their site that it also comes in a Cinnamon Roll Flavor which sounds delicious!

I really enjoy testing this out and want to try the other flavor!

Thanks to Influenster for providing this in my VoxBox for testing!

Review: Sally Hansen Salon Effects!

Hey guys! I'm back! Sorry for the lack of updates for a while! I have been dealing with some medical issues and haven't been feeling quite like myself lately. After a week I finally feel a tad bit more like myself and I am trying to get back in the groove of my reviews and video's.

I am planning on filming tomorrow for my Youtube channel so stay tuned! I have a updated Skincare video coming up!

But back to the issue at hand. I am finishing up on all my Influenster reviews. It was such a blessing to have such a great voxbox and now I received an email that I would be receiving the Summer Beauty Voxbox! Woo! Thanks Influenster!

Included in my Spring Beauty VoxBox were the  Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Decals. I was very iffy about trying them out. I have tried some in the past and I was disappointed with them. However, I was willing to try them again.

So here is my experience with them.

So to start out, I loved the Kiss Nail Decals in my previous VoxBox. I was quite impressed with those so I was hoping these would live up to the expectations. The designs in the included brochure were very nice. I loved all the designs. The price on them is about $9.99 so a bit steep. The Kiss Decals were cheaper.

The design I got was Kitty, Kitty. I love animal print so that is a big plus.

So upon opening it, there were many nail decals, an orange stick, and a file. As well as instructions. I followed the instructions and got the above result.

So here is the good and bad of it all.

The pro's are: I liked he designs. That's really about it.
The cons are: The sizes on these nails were totally off. I couldn't find a size to fit. The only one that fit was my pinky and even that was too small. The sizes are all almost the same and did not fit my nails well.
They were aggravating to apply. They were hard to place on the nail, they were flimsy, and they got stretched out easily and messed up.
The price is too high. I love Sally Hansen products but for $10 I would expect better results. At about $5.99 would be a more fitting price.

I have to say I was still disappointed. They were just not for me. I thank Influenster for the opportunity to try them! I still think I will stick to the Kiss Nail Decals though. : (

I hope you all found this review helpful! Stay tuned for further updates!

Update on EVERYTHING!

What is up my home skillets? It's been a while since I sat down and just wrote a blog type entry so I wanted to take the chance while I was sitting here to do so.

So first off....hope you guys are doing well! I try to update my blog, pinterest, and Youtube as often as I can. And it's hard at times but I make time.

So as you all know, I started a new job a while ago as a Dietary Aide and it's been tough. I swear I work like a horse. I leave work feeling exhausted. I hate to say it but I am almost reconsidering if this job is right for me at times. I just have never felt so exhausted, drained and tired in my life. And it's taking a toll on me...it's been triggering panic attacks for me. As well as stressing me to the point of where I just don't feel like myself. I have never felt like this before.

Secondly, I have started college. Yep I am back in school. I am attending Penn Foster College online and so far I really like it. It's challenging and I love being able to do my school work whenever I want and when it's convenient for me. I am going for my associates degree in medical assisting. So yea me! I got a 90 on my first exam already. Woo!

I just feel lost in everything. I don't get to go out as much as I used to because me and my fiance get up so early. We get up at 5 am. I mean I am glad to have a job and I am more financially stable which is great but I just really feel worn down.

Working on my Youtube videos and blog is pretty much what kinda relaxes me and helps me concentrate and feel more like myself. Well and being with my fiance..he always makes me feel better.

Sorry this wasn't the best of notes to start a post on but I had to get some things off my chest and just vent I guess.

Stay tuned for new videos coming up! I am working on some goodies for you all!

Soft Lips for Summer! A ChapStick Lip Shield 365 Review!

The weather sure has been a lot warmer lately, winter is definitely gone! I have slowly been making my way through the stash of Influenster Voxbox products I am to test. Honestly...I have been so exhausted with my job I hardly have the energy to test products sometimes. I have two days off this week and I was feeling up to a little testing finally. My lips were feeling a little dry today...maybe it was because I went tanning. Maybe it was the cold damp weather today. I have no idea.

I reached for the new ChapStick in my voxbox. The ChapStick Lip Shield 365 lip balm. I had never seen it in the store before. I mean I had seen regular lip balms but not this particular kind. It struck me as different because not only did it moisturize dry lips but it also protected your lips from the elements. Whether it was cold weather and blistering winds or hot dry weather, it even had SPF 50+. This seems like a great idea because here in my state of Kentucky the weather changes daily. One day it's hot and sweltering and the next day it's cold and damp. Just like today. LOL.

The packaging is really nice. It's colorful and grabs attention. The scent of the ChapStick is nice...it kind of smells like lemonade! I was expecting just a regular plain kind of smell but this smells nice and citrus-like. I applied it to my lips and it made the quite smooth and I have to say it kind of tasted nice when I licked my lips. : ) My lips are so dry that I had to reapply a few times to achieve a longer lasting moisturized feeling. However I was quite pleased. My lips definitely felt smoother and less dry.

So here are the cons.: ChapStick is always affordable ranging anywhere from $1-2 usually. It had a pleasant smell and taste. It just overall did what it is meant to do.

The con for me was that I had to reapply a couple times because my lips were so dry. I think however on your average set of lips this would probably be great for keeping your lips soft. A more healing balm would be better for very dry chapped lips but this would do great for keeping them soft. So would I repurchase this? Of course. I would recommend this to all my lip balm addicted friends!

Thanks to Influenster for providing it in my voxbox! If you haven't joined Influenster you should www.influenster.com. Also be sure to enter my giveaway on my channel: www.youtube.com/lilmssusieq02

SoyJoy Soy Bars : A Review!

I was super excited to get my Influenster Spring Beauty VoxBox in the mail this week! You all know I love testing out the great products Influenster puts in their voxboxes! The voxbox was filled with goodies and one of them just so happened to be a SoyJoy bar.

Now last time around when I recieved the Larabar in my Holiday Voxbox I was crazy about it. It was the best healthy snack I may have had in a long time! So I was excited to see if the SoyJoy bar would measure up as well.

I actually tried SoyJoy a long time ago...high school maybe. I bought one on a whim just kinda trying out things in the organic foods section of my local Kroger. I remember being kinda pleased with it however I never bought SoyJoy again.
Time passed and now here I am tasting a SoyJoy bar again after all these years.

The packaging looks the same as I remember. I got the Strawberry flavor in my voxbox. Upon opening it I could smell the strong smell of strawberries and upon smelling I have to say it smelled wonderful.

After giving it a taste I was kind of stuck in a rut. The flavor of the bar was not like the smell at all. The smell was a distinct, sweet, strawberry flavor. The taste was very mild. I can barely taste a strawberry flavor at all. The taste was not bad...don't get me wrong. It had a quite pleasing taste but it just lacked that "strawberry" flavor for me. I was kind of expecting it to taste more like the way it smelled. The texture was far different from most healthy bars. The Larabar had a soft and more chewy texture. It also tasted more moist. The SoyJoy bar had more of a dry, and not quite so moist flavor. Not very chewy either. When you look at it you would think the bar had a chewy texture but it's quite the opposite.

It does not leave any kind of bad taste in your mouth after eating. Kinda more of a taste like you just ate a cookie or a muffin.

So here is what I do like about the SoyJoy bar. I like that they have a variety of flavors. That they are all natural. They are made with real fruit. I like the fact they do not leave a bad aftertaste. I also like the packaging, it's very appealing. At about $1.19 a bar the price is good as well.

The cons for me are, a lack of fruity flavor and sweetness. I would love to taste the tang of the strawberries and a little bit of sweetness. I would also like a moist and chewy texture. Really it just comes down to a more fruity flavor for me.

So I would rate this product a C. It's not really my favorite nutrition bar. I would prefer a Larabar or a Lunabar anyday. However I could possibly see myself trying this out again. Just to give it a go and see if it's still how I remember it. It just lacks that wow factor for me. If there was a batter texture and fruitier taste I could definitely see myself repurchasing this.

Here is more info on SoyJoy bars if you are interested! Thank you to Influenster for providing this for me to try in my voxbox!

Stay tuned for more reviews!

Joining the sick club....

Well the past 3 days have been quite a fun time for me...NOT. After spending two days taking care of Bilal because he got sick, I myself have gotten sick. He can say all he wants that I shouldn't have got too close to him..but the matter at hand is that I cannot just not be near him so that is not a good excuse. Lol.

So I joined the club of "sickly people" around town about 3 days ago and I am still recovering. It kind of comes and go's in spurts. I will feel fine for about 10 mins followed by a hacking cough attack and a runny nose. Then 10 mins later I am fine again. It's enough to drive me mad. And lose sleep...which I did very well last night by the way.

I did however take the time to work on a video today which you can view below. I have been trying to work on some sort of video all week to no avail. However I finally managed something...a tag video.

I absolutely dread being sick I tell you. The scratchy throat...sore achy nose from wiping. It's springtime. It's supposed to be warm and lovely. Instead it's been freezing every night and semi-warm during the day. Not warm enough for me...or apparently cold viruses.

Thank goodness for a day off today...

Well just wanted to update on things! Please check out my video below and subscribe!

Much love!

Things That Piss Me Off About Youtube!

I know you all are probably wondering why I am writing this blog entry. Lol.

Honestly...I was planning on a more beauty related post however after experiencing issues with uploading a video I decided I needed to get some things off my chest. I was contemplating on doing a blog video on my channel but I wasn't sure how many people would be interested in viewing so I decided on a blog post.

So this will be my list of things that piss me off about Youtube. Now don't get me wrong...I love Youtube. I love being able to show others my videos, make friends with others, create videos for my viewers...there are many good things I can say about Youtube. And there is also many bad things...so lets begin. Now before anyone asks..no I am not a partner yet. So perhaps my views may change once I become one...whenever that is...

1- Why do you have to be a partner to choose your own thumbnail for your video? I think that is absolutely idiotic. I understand partners have privileges us regular youtubers don't but this should not be one of them. For one...Youtube only gives you 3 choices for a thumbnail which are randomly picked from your video. Why is it that Youtube has to randomly choose the 3 most UNFLATTERING shots of you possible. The one with a crazed look on your face...the one where you look like a maniac...the shot where you are not even looking at the camera. In my opinion ANYONE should be able to choose their own thumbnail. At least from your video if you can't upload your own picture to use. And if you do choose a different of the 3 crappy shots it chooses it would be nice if it didn't take about 36 hours to actually change.

2- What is with the 2 or 3 people who cannot seem to make up their minds if they are a subscriber or not? I check my subscriber count daily. I am always eager to thank those who subscribe to my channel and subscribe back in return. However there is always 2 or 3 subscribers who it seems subscribe and unsubscribe everyday. I gain 3...I lose 3...then gain 3 again. If I subscribe to a video then that's it...I am subscribed. I don't see why anyone would constantly go through this. It's annoying to me...I get to 500 then back to 496 then back to 500 again. Honestly...why not just pick...either they are a subscriber or not.

3- The Giveaway fans. Don't get me wrong I love a good giveaway too. I participate in them as well. I enjoy hosting giveaways! But people who only get on Youtube for giveaways really get on my nerves. Most guru's hold giveaways for their subscribers and viewers as a thank you. A way to give back to their subscribers and viewers for supporting them and as a thank you for their views. Sure new subscribers are welcome as well...but it's not fair those that join Youtube and subscribe to our channels so that they can join in a giveaway and then unsubscribe after the giveaway is over. That's not fair to us Youtuber's who make our videos and host these giveaways as a way to give back to our viewers, and it's not fair to our viewers either that these people join in on giveaways and possibly win and our viewers who constantly support us do not win.

4- Focusing more on new Youtuber's and Youtuber's who are just starting. Youtube needs to focus more on letting people discover new Youtuber's making videos and helping us to get views. I love some of my subscriptions who are fellow Youtuber's who have been making video's a long time and have many many viewers and subscribers. They are talented and deserve spotlight! However I think Youtube overshadows new video creators with focusing only on the popular and well known Youtuber's. They need a discovery section where people can discover channels with less views and not as many viewers. It lets people discover new channels and lets us newer Youtuber's have a place to showcase our work. So that we all can benefit from Youtube....not just the popular Youtuber's.

5-The new Youtube layout. It should not have been mandatory to get the new Youtube layout. I dislike it for many reasons. I do not like the layout, I do not like the lack of the background picture now, and the fact that my comments section is now missing.

6- The Youtube haters. Lastly and I have said this several times is the Youtube haters. As with any site where people put their all into their work and videos there will be those who feel they need to put in their 2 cents constantly. Those who watch videos only to bash them, to start rumors, to spread a negative attitude, and to talk about others in our videos. I never understood, if you hate a video why not just click the back arrow and quit watching it? Why feel like you need to talk about others? I believe it's just a way for them to get attention. So I have decided to always set my video's to approved comments only.

So there it is...that's my list for now. If your interested in seeing this as a video blog please comment and let me know! I will do a video on it if I have enough demand.

Product I LOVE: Stash Herbal Tea Sampler!

I am literally IN LOVE with Stash Tea. After getting the Sampler in my Influenster VoxBox I was really excited to try it out because I LOVE tea. I drink tea all the time, like 3-4 cups a day. Usually my favorite black tea, with lemon and sugar but I do love fruit and herbal tea's as well because they are good for you and refreshing!

I had tried Stash tea's before. And I did always enjoy it. However I hadn't tried some of these flavors in the sampler so I was super excited to do so!

So the flavors included in this sampler are two tea bags each of the following flavors: acai berry, blueberry superfruit, chamomile, cinnamon apple chamomile, lemon ginger, licorice spice, mango passionfruit, peppermint, and wild raspberry hibiscus.

My favorite of the flavors was probably the mango passionfruit, lemon ginger, and blueberry superfruit. It was so good and really made me feel relaxed and refreshed. And what was really nice about the sampler pack was the flavor variety. You can try out all the flavors and enjoy them! They tasted just like the description which was nice. They are all caffeine free and natural.

Just pour boiling water in and steep for about 3-5 minutes and enjoy!

I can honestly say it was the best tea I ever tried and I loved it, plan on repurchasing!

Also a big thanks to Influenster for allowing me the opportunity to test this product!

UPDATE: Kiss Nail Decals 2 day Results

So I have had my Kiss Nail Dress Decals on for about 2 days now and I just wanted to update and let you all know how they are holding up!

So here is the picture from this morning! As you can see they are still fully in tact and they are holding up quite well. I have washed dishes, went to work with them on, cooked, cleaned, opened cans of soda, and all through they are still on and not hardly scratched off. I do have one little issue with my right pointer finger chipped a little on one edge but that doesn't surprise me because I have a messed up finger nail on that hand and it always breaks or chips or gets messed up. It s hardly noticeable though!

So so far my Kiss Nail decals passed the 2 day mark with no chipping yet!

I must say I am impressed! Thanks again to Influenster for providing them in my Influenster Love VoxBox!

My New Favorite Chocolate: Ghirardelli 32% Cacao Chocolate

Another goodie from my Influenster Love VoxBox! OMG. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Lol.

I am a huge milk chocolate fan and seeing this inside my VoxBox was like opening presents at Christmas. Cause what girl doesn't love chocolate. I don't know very many that don't!

I long knew that Ghirardelli was some of the best chocolate you could get but I really hadn't tasted this Gourmet Milk flavor yet and I was curious as to how it compared to other chocolates I have had.

Well let me just say this was the smoothest, richest, most luxurious chocolate I have ever ate in my life. Honestly.

It was such a rich creamy flavor that literally melts in your mouth and makes you wanna go back for another piece. I am not even a huge "sweets" eater but this chocolate bar literally made me want to eat the whole bar. I had to hold myself back. Lol.

This is definitely something I would repurchase! I wasn't originally going to write a blog on this product but I just had to because I really think others who like milk chocolate would really love this as well!

Hands down best chocolate I have ever ate! They are available in most grocery stores so pick one up for yourself today!

TruvĂa® natural sweetener Product Review!!

It's tea time!

Well anytime is tea time for me because I love tea but after receiving the Truvia Sweetener as part of my Influenster Love VoxBox I was very excited to try out Truvia!

I usually always have my tea the same way. Black tea, with lemon, and about 2 teaspoons of sugar. Yum. I am not a fan of coffee so it rules out that for me.

I had tried tea before with Sweet-n-Low and Splenda and I have to say I wasn't a very big fan. With Splenda because of it's powdery consistency I ended up getting a weird powdery froth on my tea and also little balls of powder which didn't wanna dissolve worth a damn floated around randomly. It was gross. Sweet-n-Low was a little better but still gave me that weird "diet" taste to my tea. As you can see I have never been a fan of sweeteners, I always prefer regular sugar. I am not on a diet so I don't really care too much about the calories. However I was eager to try out Truvia because it is natural and made from the Stevia plant.

So I made my usual cup of tea and I put in one packet of Truvia. It tasted as if I needed more sweetness so I added another packet. The packets were quite small, about a half a teaspoon I would think. After tasting it again, it was quite sweet. A little too sweet I think. It seemed as if I needed 1 1/2 packets instead of using 2. So I am assuming that the sweetener is quite strong compared to sugar.

It dissolved great, did not create a froth or weird bits floating around. Which was nice. However my tea just still didn't taste the same as it usually does when I use sugar. So for me...I could tell that it wasn't sugar immediately. It had that "fake sugar" taste. In my opinion if you're not on a diet or watching calories this does not make a good sugar substitute.

However this being a no calorie sweetener most people who use it will be on a diet, watching calories, or allergic to sugar in which I have this to say...it makes a damn good alternative for those who can't have sugar. It dissolves well, it tastes halfway decent, and it has zero calories. I believe just like diet soda...it's simply a acquired taste. And after drinking a few cups of tea or coffee with sweetener like this I too could get used to it.

And I can see various uses for this sweetener, baking, tea, coffee, other kinds of drinks. It has multiple uses for sure.

Overall I believe it is a good product. It does the job, and it does it well. Even though I may taste the difference I believe for those who need sweeteners instead of sugar this is a great substitute!

Thanks to Influenster for providing me with the opportunity to try it!

Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Rain, rain, go away, come again some other day!!!

That's been my song all morning. The heavy rain and thunder woke me up this morning and I haven't been able to get back to sleep since it seems.

So whats a girl to do on a poopy day like this. Don't have work today so I have literally a whole day to spend being bored and trying to amuse myself.

Well I worked on a video for my YouTube. Should be posting it fairly soon. It's a cute Lady Gaga inspired gold and plum lip tutorial.

Also my giveaway is going on as we speak....and will be ending March 3. So looking forward to picking a winner!

I have had the Stereo Love song by Edward Maya stuck in my head since 2 days ago. I literally cannot get it out of my head. It is permanently embedded in my brain. And I don't even know the words really so I just faintly hear the singing and the little beat with the accordion sounding instrument in my head. Over and over.

Muffin, my dog, refuses to get up off the couch and won't even turn to look at me when I walk around. Apparently she is not going to be of any company today.

Baking a cake would be fun...if I only had some icing. Or cream cheese to make icing anyhow.

I really don't like watching much tv so that's outta question.

It's nearing noon maybe I can fix some lunch.

Well anywho...I'll be busy trying to find something to do today. Check out my YouTube for my latest video! And don't forget to join in the Giveaway going on now!

Toodles!

My Newest Favorite Mascara!

A girl changes her opinion's about mascara as often as she breathes it seems. Lol. And I am no different! I have long been a mascara fanatic and I love me a good mascara at all times! I feel like I have always tried all the oldies but goodies, Lash Stiletto, Lash Blast, Grow Luscious, etc...etc...the list goes on. So I feel I have a pretty good opinion on mascara's!

So that's where my current favorite comes in, mark. Lash Splash Mascara.

I recently purchased this and I have to say I have been thrilled with it. I decided to check out the last chance section on mark.'s site and I saw this there for $1.99. Not sure of the usual price. But I was beyond sold right there and then when I read it was Waterproof too...I was down!

The one nice thing about this mascara is the unique packaging. You can buy this by itself and simply leave packaging as is, or if you purchase another hook-up such as eyeliner or lip glosses you can simply connect the two by a small hookup piece which usually runs .50 cents or sometimes is free when you purchase two hookup's anyhow. It's nice to have them hook together because for one it's convenient and it saves space in my makeup bag and I got two things in one place.

Also this mascara is waterproof as I mentioned which is very wonderful because my eye's tend to get watery ALL THE TIME and so a good mascara that won't run is essential for me! I even took my dog out on a windy day and my eyes watered up and this mascara never ran.

But perhaps my all time favorite thing about this mascara is the brush wand it comes with. The brush is about medium size, and small enough to get into all those tiny lil lashes but still can be used on a large area at once. The bristles though are spaced just so that it gets into every single lash. It distributes the product evenly and does not clump one bit. It isn't exactly for lenghtening but it provides such a nice natural and glamorous look to my lashes. They look how they would be meant to look. They are spread evenly and not clumped. Longer and more volumized but not fake looking and spidery! And I like my lashes that way!

I like this mascara more then drugstore mascara's I have tried. It's like that mascara you would find in Sephora or a dept store, but much more affordable.

I give this product a A+. It's going to be a favorite of mine for long to come I am sure!

If you are interested in purchasing this or other mark. products please check out my good friend and mark. rep Shareka's site. She is super helpful and will be able to recommend products best for you! And give mark.'s mascara's a try! They r awesome!

Jersey Shore Style

I wish I was going to the shore biatch!

It's been snowing everyday for the past 3 days and I must say it's really starting to get old already. After dealing with about an inch of snow overnight 2 days ago and enjoying driving about 10 mph through the snow and trying to get out my ski slope driveway in one piece I must say I am kind of done with the whole "winter" season.

So the fact that Season 5 of Jersey Shore started last week is a very welcome thing for me. Sure....lots of people hate the Jersey Shore show. With good reason, it is a bit repetative...smushing, fighting, clubbing...over and over but I have to say I have been hooked since Season 1. I have been watching every since the show started.

Maybe it's because my fiance is from NJ. Maybe it's cause I visited there before. Who knows, but I love eyeing the girls styles and trends. I admit, I really enjoy the show. Plus with this dreary winter weather it's nice to see bikini clad bodies and good times. Something I wish was happening around here.

So I started a new series on my channel. Jersey Shore Girls series. Featuring looks from each of the girls. I really enjoyed doing the last two looks Snooki and Jwoww. Especially Jwoww because she is my favorite girl. We have a similar style and attitude. At least with recreating these looks I can get away from a little of the winter blues. Yea I am definitely not a winter person.

Well...hopefully this weather warms up soon. I could use some Shore like weather around here.

Stay warm lovelies, and be safe if the weather is bad where you are!

Much love,

Susie

Product Review: Montagne Jeunesse Fruit Smoothie Cleansing Mask

Hey hunnies! I can't believe I haven't posted in a while! I have been super busy with getting my channel on track and also working on another huge surprise I have been working on which I will reveal one of these days! You will just have to stay tuned! Thats all I can say. Anyhow,...

I became an Influenster member recently and got my very first Holiday VoxBox which I was really excited about! Inside of my VoxBox was included the Montagne Jeunesse Fruit Smoothie Cleansing Mask which I was excited to try. I previously tried a different Montagne Jeunesse mask which must not have been for my skin type because I ended up breaking out badly however this just being a cleansing mask I was a little less worried.

So the mask was a very nice thick mask that you apply after cleansing your face. You leave the mask on for about 10-15 minutes and then rinse off. It didn't really have much of a scent to it. It was Raspberry and Mango but I personally didn't smell any kind of smell.

After getting out of the shower and using it my skin felt very smooth and soft. It didn't feel tight or dry. I also didn't notice any breakouts so it seems as though this mask was much better for my sensitive skin then the previous one I used.

I have to say I was very satisfied with the mask. I loved the way it cleansed my skin without over drying it and it made my skin so soft.

The only bad point I can say about it is that I would have liked if the mask had actually had more of a fragrance to it. When I read it was Raspeberry and Mango I figured that it would have a Raspberry or Mango or some sort of fruity smell which it did not have. But that would be about the only bad point to it.

So I give this mask a A-. It was great even without the fragrance!

Thanks to Influenster for providing this with my Holiday Vox Box! Please stay tuned to my channel for more video's this week!
